What has quarantine shown you about your relationships?

Has being sheltered in place revealed anything about your family, friend or romantic relationships?

I feel like I have clearly seen who means the most to me in my life and how connected I am to very few treasured loved ones. It has been an opportunity to focus on the loving relationships I have instead of always searching for more.

It's really underlined the significance of my primary relationship. I think it's made us a little more relaxed and stronger over all. I also see the necessity in being assertive for the good of the relationship.

I could not agree more. I’ve always been protective of my time to share with only close people as an introvert but this has reaffirmed that choice. It’s funny how being quiet and still can clarify things.

I miss my daughters and my grand daughter. I can't touch them, can't hug them. It's very painful.

Had a friend from work stop by yesterday. Normally I would have given him a hug. We had to do our social distancing with masks.

It's been very sad. I never took relationships for granted. I feel such a huge loss.

It's a tough time.

Awww Dolphin I’m so glad to see you. I get it. I have such gratitude for those people I do deeply love. This has really shown that. Bitter sweet

I know I love them all so much. Such rich deep conversations with them all on the phone everyday. I treasure that 💛

This all shows me who really cares and who doesn't. I live alone. I don't drive. Everyone knows that. I've seen more kindness from acquaintances than actual family. ( Except my daughter of course). For me, it's weeding out the people who genuinely care. Sad.

I feel like it’s a filter of those close bonds. I have never believed in social media. I have only a very small handful of people I love most but this has made those connections even stronger.

I don't have ANY social media. By acquaintances, I'm talking about parents who bring their children to my day care. ( down to 3 kids now from 10). My own brother ( who I'm not close with anyway), never even texted me to see how I'm getting along. But yet from some of my parents, I've had offers of a lift to the supermarket, and some of them text me weekly to see how I am. I will never forget this!! It means a lot to me!

I think this has shown everyone’s true intentions and heart.
