What's an antidepressant that won't cause weight gain? Depression causing weight gain has become vicious cycle. Now trapped in house in bad relationship!

I was on Prozac for 10 years, no weight gain, had to come off as I built up a tolerance, on to Zoloft, same thing. A lot of them do not cause weight gain, check it out with your Dr......Get out of the relationship if you can. Maybe see if your Dr. Can prescribe some weight loss medication, I don't think I've found an antidepressant that hasn't made me gain weight. I've never been this heavy before and with anxiety a lot of times I'm walking around my house listening to music to try to escape this life

Viibryd is supposed to be weight neutral. But really we do not know how our bodies are going to react to any antidepressant. Some gain some lose some stay the same on prozac. I gained a lot on lexapro but not much on prozac. Some say they lost weight on prozac some say they gained a lot. You just have to try until you find something that helps you with the least amount of side effects. It's a hard journey but worth it once you find the one. Good luck.

Oh I wish I knew of one. It’s hard taking off the weight, plus since I’ve been on them gained weight.As soon as this virus is over get out of the relationship, try to cope now with it.❤️
