Yes. We are currently living in the same house but getting divorced. I feel even worst then I usually do. I’m a recent empty nester so just feel completely lost and alone

It is so hard!!! We are living together as well because she just dropped this on me 4 weeks ago. Completely out of the blue so I am not prepared. I don’t really have anywhere to go so we have to live together at least through the holidays and probably until March. I breakdown when I am trying to appear like everything is good in front of the 6 and 4yr old. I sneak into the bedroom lock the door and cry hard until no more tears can come out!!

I have so many emotions going through me it’s unbearable!

How long have you been married?

Feel free to message me if you prefer.

Prayers to you!

I’ve been married for 22 years. We’ve basically stayed together for our kids but they are now 19 and 20. They weren’t surprised when we told them. Ours is pretty mutual. Just don’t have the same interests, he has untreated add and is currently unemployed. Prayers to you as well. What is her reason for wanting a divorce?

She was a stay at home mom and now the kids are in school so she got a part time job and this made her have feelings of what it was like to be independent again. We haven’t been very close to each other for the past 6 years because the 2 little ones took up all of our time. I guess I could have tried harder but I didn’t. She says I love you, but not IN Love with you.... I lost my 1st the same exact way. 9 years married and she wanted her own independence after kids started school. I’m feeling like a total chump!!!

Did it. I divorced his anxiety. He divorced my depression. It’s been a lovely 25 years between husbands.

Take care of yourself.

I don’t know how you guys stay living together if you’re broken hearted that’s a heart attack waiting to happen. I did 3 weeks lol I was a mess it was just awful. It’s still awful thinking of it we were married 16 years 8 years divorced he’s all happy moved in I’m on here Messed up from stuff that happened after divorce with my health.. go the gym don’t go home right away hopefully separate beds and not dinners as usual. 3 months it’s crazy. A lady at work did that she was crying all the time missed a lot of work it’s cruel.

I’m sorry or hear that, love. I ended a nine year relationship about 3 years ago. It still hurts. And it’s definitely made me less trusting and afraid to open up to others

I’ve been divorced for almost 2 years now, it’s still not finalized and it’s really tough some days. We have a good relationship, no hard feelings thankfully, but the new financial strain and loneliness is causing me anxiety and depression.

Keep your head up and move forward! One of the blessings of divorce, for me, that I realized how strong I could be.
