I cannot understand why your principle would think that. I think you are very brave to try and stand up to your friend. That took so much courage from you.

I’m sorry you’re feeling misunderstood - that’s probably one of my least favorite feelings in the world. That’s why I type so much - to try to be understood.

I understand why you’d feel anger. You’re trying to reach out for help and defend your friend (Who’s been bullied). I think most schools, you’d hope, want bullying reported and have measured against it (but some schools aren’t as vigilant).

I agree with you that bullying is wrong, that your friend deserves help, and that the school should do their part. Those things are true.

Although, I don’t know what you wrote in your letter to the principal... I don’t know how you conveyed your friends need for help. Perhaps, something got misconstrued.

Do you have an adult who can give you assistance and support with this? It could be a parent, a favorite teacher, your counselor, or the school nurse. It might be good to have someone on your side who can help you, defend you, and sort out what happened or why the principal is acting the way they are.

***hugs***

A friend being in pain is one of the hardest things. It’s wonderful that you have a good friendship and are a good friend. I hope you’re okay.

In your last post I told you your principal had the chance to do something admirable. Do you remember ? Well. It looks like she blew it. and that's too bad of her. I think you should write her a little note in a very respectful manner and tell her how you feel. You tried to do the right thing and you got no support. Is that a message she wants to teach ? This is one of those times when adults do things kids never understand. Let her know this is important to you. And let us know what happens.

Standing up for Bullying? Are you saying you approve of it???

I mean against it

You were a witness to the bullying. That is the information you need to mention when she asks questions. If you feel you were not communicating in a mindful manner then you have to show how upset you were to watch the bullying but you were not part of it. Hope meeting goes ok.
