Lorazepam and alcohol

Hi all! I’m having really bad insomnia/anxiety and I’d like to take some of my Lorazepam to help BUT... I did drink alcohol tonight. It’s been about 5 hours and I do t feel a buzz or anything but all the information on the internet makes it sound really scary/like a bad idea. Can anybody weigh in? Obviously I don’t want to do anything dangerous- just want to try and get a few hours of sleep! Thanks in advance!!

Your best answer would be to call your doctor, if someone on here told you the wrong thing, that may have adverse effects on you and not them, that could be very bad. We are all different and mixing prescriptions with alcohol can always be very bad. Also you should Google side effects if you don't have a doctor to call. Take care....
