Hello, I am new to anxiety and even newer to this website. The thing is I have really bad health anxiety. This started when a cat bit me on my knee and I had to get anti-rabies and anti-tetanus shots. I basically scared myself with what could happen and ended up overthinking every sensation that I feel. Physical manifestations of my anxiety seems to be muscle twitches and very minor tingling sensations (i can only feel when i "focus" in what i'm feeling). I already consulted with a doctor about what I've been feeling and she said I am protected from rabies now and what I've been feeling was the effect of the anxiety and stress from overthinking. I am writing this post hoping that I could get ideas with how you start to deal with something like this/talk yourselves down and convince yourself that there is nothing wrong with you.
