Adrenaline for depression?

Is there such a thing? I recently noticed that adrenaline boosting activities make me feel better for a few days.

In fact, playing soccer made me skip sleeping time today and instead I was able to focus on work. I tried google but haven't found much work on the matter.

I also noticed that I have problems with reacting. For example, when I ride my bike and a car almost drives over me; I stay un-excited. I thought maybe this is linked to low adrenaline or something...

Does any of you have experience with this? Can adrenaline be used to treat depression?

Hey Bartleby - exercise (not adrenaline) causes you to dump 'feel good' hormones into your system. This may be why you felt so much better after playing soccer.
