Does anyone deal with heart palpitations, fluttering, rapid heart rapids?

How do you deal with it?

Does it come and go or do you have it all day?

Any vitamin to take for it?

Any advice would be helpful

Could I get test done threw a regular doctor or do have to go to a specialist?

😀

I get it. Mostly at night. I do drink alot of caffeine and get nicotine with vaping, both can cause that along with stress and other reasons like meds or heart issues. You can see a family doc and get an ekg to check for things like afib. If you get it for a prolonged period or with chest pains I would go to the er. Age can also be a factor.

I heard to stop drinking caffeine when having anxiety but I never been a coffee person.

I get them during the day and night but they come and go or last for awhile.

I will ask my family doctor about the ekg

I would get it checked out especially if you are over forty.

I would go to the doctor if you feel like you need to. But it happens with me all the time especially when I’m trying to take a nap or at nighttime. I’ve heard diet has a big part in it so avoid sugar and caffeine which speeds up heart rate.

really, so it actually never goes away?even when on medication?

I wish i could take day naps but all I can heart is my heart fluttering :(

I wonder what kind of diet is the best?

lately i've been walking everyday.

I’m currently on zero medication so I’m not sure on that aspect. Normally I take day naps if I work second shift and I wake up early and try to sleep again before work but that never works out because of my heart. I’ve heard that low carb, low sugar, leafy greens diet helps

I only take medication when i absolutely need it.ive been trying to do the whole natural way but sometimes i just need a pill.

Do you take any supplements or vitamins like stress b complex?

I'm going to have to look into it.

The only thing I do is cannabinol sleeping syrup to help me sleep at night. I heard CBD gummies that are used for daytime are good for heart rate. I need to try it I just haven’t yet. I buy off of buylegalmeds.com

is that medication or a supplement?

Apparently magnesium citrate really helps im going to buy some right now.

Dr gupta on YouTube talks about it.

in reply to

Apparently I can’t take magnesium as it will interfere with my thyroxine meds. Going to try vitamin B12.

I’ve too have had this in the past. I used to get it very frequently. I spoke to my doctors about it, one time I was made to wear a heart monitor for three days, but nothing abnormal was found. Then a friend suggested I try this herbal supplement called Xtendovite that contains seven different herbs that are supposed to help with Cardiovascular health. I looked for it on Amazon and the reviews were great so I gave it a try. It really does work. I’ve noticed that when I take it regularly once or twice a day, I almost never get the arrhythmias and palpitations. If I run out and don’t buy more for awhile, they start to return. I’ve gone through this starting/stopping cycle with it several times now to the point that I’m convinced it works. It’s a little expensive so there’s times I’ve run out and figured, since I didn’t seem to be having the problem anymore that I didn’t need the product anymore. But then eventually it comes back, so I start taking it again and once again they go away. So, yeah, I’m convinced the product helps this.

I have another doctor appt soon to get some test done on my heart as well to make sure everything is okay. my doctor told me to take stress b complex but I'm not sure if it's for me.

I may look into that.

I agree, but would more likely call it anxiety, which starts with stress. Same thing.

My daughter was just put on a beta blocker for this and it’s working. I’m seeing this a lot here. I asked a similar question.

To add: I’d see your doc. My daughter ended up with tachycardia. Definitely get an EKG.

Yes, I find yoga, breathing and meditation really help. It certainly comes out of nowhere or if I have emotional stress. It can last a couple of days.
