The Letter

He left a letter on the dresser

addressed to whom it may concern.

It read "Never falter under pressure

before the tides can take their turn.

Everything is dying -

The likes of man and all his pleasures.

From paper planes we're flying

to the wooden chests of treasures.

But one Truth will always stand

when the last word here is spoken:

There's always been a heavenly hand

to heal a heart that's broken."

"Everything is dying" is the key line for me.

Yeah, it actually gives me comfort in some strange way. I don't feel so alone and fearful about it.

Mine is “never a folder under pressure”

I hope you’re right.

You are very good at writing poems! I like to write poems myself.

That's awesome. I'd love to read some when you get a chance to send them to me or post them.

Ok! I guess I never thought of posting poems on this site until I saw that you do. It's a great idea! I think I might message you some of the poems that I've written to see what you think of them. I am a Christian, so most of my poems are centered on my faith.
