I have suffered from depression all my life. I’m almost never happy. Now I’m faced with losing my dog. She is 14 years old but she is all I have The little family I have is busy, my friends all have children and grandchildren and have no time for me.
My husband has kids that don’t want me around and has other interests. I have no children and feel so alone. I’ve been crying for days and don’t know what to do. I don’t want to lose her. She’s been my life for 14 years now. I’m 67 and don’t really have much to live for! Thank you for listening!

Sorry to hear this Broken, I've experience this twice so know the sadness and pain. I hope she will not suffer. Try talking with your vet as there may be support they can put you in contact with.
Do activities you enjoy, learn something new to keep you occupied, or adopt a new pet. I know it won't be the same but at least you'll build new memories.
So sorry that you're hurting and are alone. Please know that someone cares. Won't you consider getting out possibly visiting the library there you might meet and form new friends. Do you have any church affiliation? If not try visiting a church you most definitely will meet hopefully people there who can be a source of support for you. Think about it. I will surely keep you in my prayers. Sorry about your pet.
