Lorazepam taper

I was on a low dose of lorazepam for about 2 and a half months .5. As soon as I could I started to taper down by a 1/4 about every 2 weeks Now I’m off completely but am having some problems with side effects. Didn’t have problems while tapering. I know it’s not a permanent situation but it is difficult. I am alone. I do have a therapist I’m working with. Any ideas on handling this period of time better would be appreciated.

I am in the same situation. Sleep eludes me. I exercise hard and just try and rest when I can. Eventually the body will start to adapt but I sympathise with you as I am permanently exhausted and overstressed due to lack of sleep. gemma

I wake up early. It’s the palpitations, nausea and rebound anxiety that get me down and I’ve only used a small amount for a short time. I don’t know how long time users get off of it! Yuck!
