I can’t tell anyone at work what I’m going through with my panic attacks. I feel so alone. I need support.

Good plan, work policies usually frown if coworkers bring their home life to work. Work is kind of a escape from home life. If it's a work thing, HR is suppose to be our advocate. Hopefully you have therapist, I do not, too expensive. It is real nice to have this site:)

I don’t right now. Have a 6 month old to take care of too. Thankful for this site.

You have a lot on your plate. I hope you have family or some good friends that you can help with your full plate. Having a baby is the best however it is such a busy, overwhelming time and then if you are dealing with other stuff, vent away:) or at least do something relaxing and fun, even if it's just sitting down watching a show on tv :)

I hear you... my coworkers (few that I have) know that I get anxiety. But they definitely don’t know when I have it or when I have my attacks. I moved to VA two years ago and still don’t have many friends here. So I also feel alone sometimes. Hang in there baby, you got this 🙏🏽♥️

Glad you find support here dolphin. I try and find some time to peek on here during the work day. I also find that responding to someone here helps with my own crap. It helps to feel like maybe I’m helping. Hugs to you.

I know how you feel!!! So many times and days that you are feeling this way, and no one to turn too!!! I understand your battle, and we must decide to reach out to one another no matter what situation we are in at the moment!!! I know that I can count on you for support no matter what the circumstances are!!! You can also count on me!!!

I can relate. I just started a new job and I have to pretend I’m fine all day. While I’m not having panic attacks (I had one a month ago which was my rock bottom so to speak) I feel out of it /foggy. Feel free to reach out to me if you need to!

You got it, what do you need, dies your work place gave any sorts of employee assistance? Talk to someone, breath, I take myself off to the toilet, bring a white light down into ground back up, and ground myself, that’s really important, have you tried yoga, meditation, Bach flower remedies, homepathy, I found the best thing fir my anxiety was CBT, it has given me tools I still use now, take care xxx

You're doing the right thing by not telling friends and family cause they don't want to hear it. I've been through this before. Even my kids don't want to be around me. Have you sought counseling?

When you feel alone, your soul try to comunicate, go to a monastery for a while and listen their songs and words.

I also call relate. Worked at a job for 13 years and never shared with anyone there how I was feeling. Only those who have experienced anxiety and panic attacks can truly understand your pain. Know that there are others fighting the same battles you are, somehow I found strength in knowing that I was not alone in this. I hope good days are ahead for you.

Your not alone and I know sometimes you must feel it , I can empathise with yr thoughts , but please get some help

Unsure where you are but when I hit a dark place last November I started some lift psychology courses ,add me go out and helped my mood

When I struggle through these kinds of storms in life, I like to have something small and simple that I can think on to help me jump over the fence. Here is one of the Thoughts that help me through. Having to hide your emotions in public is even adding to your panic! Your not alone

Growing. When I get overwhelmed I try to distract myself by singing lol it blocks racing thoughts or I focus on my grandchildren faces. I get on phone and watch their videos, it’s like a warm fuzzy!

You have us. This is safe. Do you have grounding exercises you do when an attack happens? Do you know what triggers them? Start there.

I hope you were able to feel some support from the peeps on here. I’m new here, joined a few days ago. Last night I started to feel anxious, remembered that I could come on here at anytime and felt pretty instant relief, not so alone, it was a good feeling. I hope your day has been well, xo xo

I'm sorry that you have panic attacks. I think that breathing deeply is helpful. I hope that you can learn to relax your mind and your body.
