I was wandering around Manchester city centre, came upon the museum, thought let's have a look, it was great spent 4 hours there. I just set off not knowing where I will end up, I don't plan anything day to day, makes things more surprising. And fun.🏃xxx

Your statement is so true! Anxious people need to keep their minds active with positive, good things so they work themselves down instead of up.

Yeppers!

I've got to start doing something Gerrerd even just making a vow to get out once a week, if I don't I'm going straight back to step one and I don't want that!

You have to work at it, it does,nt just happen. Start with little walks, look about see what you can see. Look at nature, it takes your mind off yourself, which is the biggest problem most people have. ACTION IS THE ONLY WAY.

Yes. I think we should all start with baby steps though. I'm also hoping to get involved with a local church

Cool!

An active mind and/or body often helps me with my depression, too. 💃👟🌳

So true Gerard, keeping busy is good but I get soooo tired doing all the things I have to do and forget about doing anything nice. I think I'll do something nice for myself soon, maybe a museum or visit to the botanical gardens sounds like a very good idea!🙂

If you watch TV turn it off, then you will have loads of time to enjoy life instead of watching illusions. Get back to how things were when you was a child, do the things you did then, And life becomes alive again.

Great if you can cope with going out to museums on your own. What about social media -

are you giving this up as well as TV? You have got more confidence now.

This is the only, interactive site I use, no interest in mindless banter. blocks your mind and subconscious mind, I only allow what I want into my mind, Fill your mind with rubbish and you get rubbish.

You've cracked it! It's having an overactive mind which is my problem. I do find my hobbies help me to relax but I have phone phobia - amongst others including claustrophobia - agoraphobia in open windswept environments. Keeping busy is so important - but do you ever feel lonely?

I live alone, but im not lonely, because if you learn to like yourself, you are never alone.
