I feel like I’m losing my mind, my grip on reality. I’ve been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks for sometime with no one to vent to. I’ve never had therapy and I’m currently not taking any medication and this is get hard to deal with. Please somebody let me know that I’m not dealing with this alone and that I’m not losing my mind.

No, you're not losing your mind. You just need to talk about how you feel with somebody. This is a good place to come for that.

I recently had a panic attack at work and haven’t felt like myself since. I’ve been having muscle weakness in my arms and legs and don’t really know if it’s my anxiety or a serious problem.

I recommend that you see your regular doctor and talk things over. If your doc clears you physically, he/she will advise you to see a therapist, and can probably recommend one for you. This is what you need right now. Don't worry about any "stigma" of going to a therapist, what people will think, etc. There is no shame in seeking the help you need for your illness. I wish you the best.

You’re definitely not alone. The first step is to get checked for your arms and legs. That’s the beginning of getting that peace of mind.

When my attacks happen my mind plays so many tricks on me that i don’t know what’s my mind or a legitimate threat...i hate dealing with this.

I’m a hypochondriac. So any little pain or something wrong with me and I start to think the worst. That triggers my attacks.

But it hasn’t always been like that. Just when I’m going through a very stressful time. So just waiting on this time to pass. Hang in there. Prayers for you 🙏🏽♥️

You are not alone, a lot of us are in the same boat

Justjest, I'm new to anxiety and panic attacks I dont take meds much. My attacks mainly come when I try to sleep. I've only take

meds as needed but breathing exercise has really helped me especially diaphragmatic ones. I'm gonna start to try meditation as well. Stay strong stay focused.

There is always someone here to listen and talk to. But most importantly we are all experiencing similar problems.

I've got pretty much the same thing, don't worry!

You are not alone. You sound like me. Especially lately. I’ve struggled with severe anxiety my entire life, but it’s gotten so bad recently that I seriously have feared I’m spiraling out and slowly losing my mind. Whenever I feel extremely anxious, to the point I’m scared for my sanity, I try and reach out to someone. Whether it’s family, or a friend, or a support group like this. Usually, it’s my mom because I’m lucky enough to have a mom who truly understands how I feel when things get really bad and scary. It helps to get it out. Sometimes to just say how I’m feeling out loud or voice it in a message takes a little bit of the overwhelming weight off my chest. You are not alone.

I’ve developed this awful dependence on alcohol when I’m feeling extremely anxious, i know that i shouldn’t but nothing else has seemed to help and i had no one to turn to.
