just after the war in wartorn Salford England, all the schools had to be screened for tb.
a van went to every school with xray equipment on board puples, were marched out
and into the van,i remember when the xray was taken how it burnt my chest as it did others.over the years tha amount of people that were at our school dieing of cancer
at a early age.looking back at school pals in Salford dieing was shocking.by the way
in those days a lad used to fetch a sweepstake round on Salford rugby scores to our
house wonder what happened to him, fred done was his name.

any carrer knows.i had a nerves break down soon after and never right since.by suzzze peek
wow that is interesting assuming the way they xray is different now days as you don't hear of many people getting cancer from it, think long term exposure can cause cancer from an xray but not just once surely, hope you are having a great week so far

That is incredible and very disturbing there must of been a higher radiation level that there is now
How long did it take for the cancer to appear? Days, weeks? What kind of cancers did they get? Was it lung cancer, leukemia? I myself have had a lot of ct scans, x Ray's, and nuclear stress tests do to my health anxiety. Now I feel doomed to getting cancer.

real, the exrays inthose times would not be allowed they were far to high for instance their
was a shoe shop nearby in the tate 50s any one could walk in put their under a machine
and watch a exray their and then of their feet and toes.in later days this was banned
and hushed up,in case people clamed compo.you see real madrid? how things were in them days.
