Hi, I’m new here and am just looking for some positive support. Around thanksgiving my anxiety and panic attacks came back with a vengeance. I was having panic attacks every morning to the point where I could hardly get ready for work. Finally I decided to leave work for awhile and go spend time with family in Michigan. I took short term disability. I’ve been adjusting to Lexapro for almost a month and also take Lorazepam at night. Things were getting better (but the meds made it worse for awhile). My anxiety was almost gone, my panic attacks subsided, my appetite was back, I was sleeping again. But now all the sudden, after my psychiatrist upped my dose, I feel like I’m going crazy again. I can’t stop crying, I feel depressed, I keep having persistent feelings of dissociation, and my anxiety is back a little bit. Has anyone else experienced this with a dosage increase? I feel debilitated and like I’ll never be myself again.

Good Morning. It's very common to experience these things after a dose increase. You should start feeling better within about 2 weeks. For some people it's shorter, for others it takes a little bit longer.
