Citalopram

Has as anyone had good luck with citalopram? Or lexapro? My doctor is considering putting me on one of them.

I took lexapro for 7 years and I just started taking it again yesterday ! It was not a magic pill for me but helped me a lot !

I've heard alot of good about it and I took it once before but only for a year I believe. My biggest struggle is my anxiety. I struggle with leaving home and going to the store or out of my hometown. So I'm trying to find something to help calm the anxiety.

Hi, I've been on Citalopram for 4-5 years. I just took 1/2 of a 10mg for most of it and upped to the full tab about 6 months ago. I tried to go off and found myself feeling really sad and kind of crying for no reason so went back on and no problem since. I can't say I'm happy but not feeling emotional anymore. Good luck.
