Its all in the title. Im 31y/o female 5'10 10/28 was 167 lbs now im 157 after only 10 days w/o MJ. I hope my anxiety chills out so my heart rate will go back down. I have been doing everything the same except not smoking marijuana. I just wanted to let the community know that I am still on the sober wagon but am tachycardic and losing a lb a day. Its for once a good thing Im stubborn because dang this is obviously taking somewhat of a toll on my body. But theres the mind over matter philosophy and tension tamer tea which is calming..... :) thanks for reading (if anybody actually did)

it's a bit scary to hear your heart is at issue here....have you been checked by your doctor to make sure your going to eventually be okay.....I would be cautious and get checked.

Fauxartist thanks for your reply, I am also concerned if my heart rate doesnt chill out (or show signs of trying to go back to normal) in in the next 3 or 4 days Im going to see a doctor. And thats huge for me because Im super untrusting of the medical industry. I have only gone to medcheck a handful of times since 18 and Im 31. (I have never had my own doctor)

just remember they are there for you and to help you.... so don't be intimidated or worry about what you need to say to them....just be honest and straight with them and tell them you need an echo cardiogram to check your heart properly....and not just a quick listen with the stethoscope....that this fast rhythm has been going on for a while now your very worried....

best wishes and hope this all works out okay for you

I had to quit smoking MJ, it was not easy and there was mild physical side effects.

Smoking extreme amounts daily for almost 10 years.

At first I Felt very unsettled, racing heart, panicked - which was ironic because I had to quit from getting these feelings when I was high. I had limited appetite and also was dropping weight quickly, but I used to eat a lot of junk when high.

Its been about 4-5 weeks now, I feel much better, my heart rate is a lot more calm and now that I have my routine without weed I am gaining weight.

I started taking CBD oil, zero THC and I am not sure if its a placebo effect but I do feel a lot better, calmer and hungrier after taking it for a month twice a day.

Feel better, you will bounce back, your body and brain is going through a chemical change from the lack of THC/CBD.

Ah feel ya.

I did a stupid thing and dropped cigarettes, mj, alcohol and coffee st the same time.

While I found alcohol to be acceptable as a calm-down drug (it makes quality of sleep really low though. 10h drunk is same as 4h anxious sleep sober ), abstaining from everything else gave me lots of anxiety and noticeable depression and racing thoughts problems even 1,5 months later.

Fuck mj. It was fun but in comparison withdrawal is much more problematic than pleasantries of being high ever was

Quitter333 and drdabbss, thankyou for your replys, it really helps to hear from people that have been through it. I just discovered slightly over hydrating knocks my heart rate down a few beats per min. I've also been reading alot about buddhism and meditation, they say eventually with daily practice, ones response to stress lessens. (fingers crossed) 😀

Yeah, exercise, reading and overall not thinking about your sympthoms too much is a way to go.

I find work to be a good way to battle any anxiety issues (never been a workaholic). It's a productive distraction. I think I have even gotten slightly better and more productive thanks to this withdrawal period.

All that is left is to get my daily routine finalyl going (I am gettign sick of forcing myself to go to sleep and then having 2 all nighters in a row and AGAIN having insomnia bouts - like today, I went to sleep at about 24:00 and after just 4 hours was back up and could not go back to sleep. f me.

If ur up for trying it....celestial "sleepy time extra" tea has valerian root in it. Valerian is a natural non habit forming sleep aid. I mention it because where you woke up at 4am you really couldnt take anything like zzzquil because you'd wake up 4 hours later a zombie...this tea is gentile enough to drink in the middle of the night and be able to wake up fully a few hours later but strong enough that I notice a difference. Thanks for helping me and I hope that this helps you.😊

I dont take any pills or medication. Took phenibut some month ago for few days, but despite calming wffect I read its addictive and tolerance level goes up in just a week (ie you end up either taking more or you have zero effect).

Regarding valerian im not sure. I have it and have ate it in heaps. Cant tell if it really helps me. I know its a potent natural remwdy
