Good morning, everyone- I hope your day is going well
My sister and I were texting last night and she sent me this image. It says "Never give up on someone with a mental illness. When "I" is replaced by "we", illness becomes wellness." It warmed my heart that I had such an outpouring of support from a family member- something new and rare, especially from her. She told me that she has been researching more on everything I have been going through and is learning a lot. She also apologized for her misunderstanding and giving me a hard time- I forgave her a long time ago for it, she wasn't informed properly. I slept so well last night, the best I have slept in years. Hope is not lost, my friends. I wanted to share this with you this morning, whether it is motivational or something to lift your spirits. Right? I was blown away and felt a lot of relief during the conversation. Similar to what you and I were discussing yesterday, I have a hard time responding via text/call sometimes. I didn't know where she was going when she first started texting me, but I hung in there and I'm glad I did! I don't have support from anyone in my family except her. We have had a difficult relationship at times, but I think it is finally evening out now that we have matured.
That is so nice...sounds like you’ve both been finding your way in all this, it’s not easy..it takes time and patience on both sides...it’s an achievement that you both have worked for in different ways 😊

How beautiful 💕 your so lucky to have a supported family especially a sister, mine are awful they just get on with their lives and wait for me to recover from my flare ups then They just want me to do everything for them just because I have a car yet they don't as much as offer any kinda help an support for me I find it upsetting and to read this was so warming and beautiful bless you and your family 💜
Thank you so much for sharing this with me, I understand that it can be really hard. My sister and I have been through that before. I felt used, misunderstood, and like a complete misfit. Over time, we have gone through spells where we don't talk at all. I am cautiously, but humbly/graciously, going into this with her. She started asking questions, showing more compassion and understanding. I don't know what caused her change of heart and I haven't questioned it- but I hope that yours can find understanding and be there for you in the way you need for them to be <3
wow that is an amazing story of hope and happiness....and something in short supply sometimes with so many that suffer...so thank you much for sharing that with us .... it fills my heart with so much joy to read that....my sister and I too stay in touch and we love each other in a way no one else could ever understand as we both have the same mother. She also has 4 of the most beautiful people she raised and I was privileged and humbled to share that experience with her as they were growing up. It was incredibly healing to have so much innocent unbiased pure unconditional love from those kids in my life of never growing up with any of that....it was something I hope everyone who has had little love in their life get's to experience....and I am so very happy to hear this is happening for you.....it's hope, love, and understanding that will change our world.
Hey fauxartist, thank you <3 I really did not think this would happen and it's happening. I'm still taking it all in and it is a wonderful feeling. It's like a break in a storm, finally a feeling relief. My sister and I indeed have a super unique bond, one that I don't believe can be fully broken. I totally understand- my niece and nephew are so precious and bring me more joy than I could ever imagine, healing is definitely the right word to describe it. Watching them grow up so full of love and light is the complete opposite of what we had, so it is a very healing experience to witness that and to be a big part of it. Thank you so much for your kind words
At least you had anything to do in your life. Your country had lot of opportunities to do. Here nothing to do. Men can depress only when jobless. So be happy and let life go with interest in what you do.
