Hey guys... Today has been better than yesterday but I was struggling around noon. I started to research something my therapist told me to try was letting go or stop trying to control. I found this article and it helped me. I hope it helps you.

Yes I’m same, I skim a lot...

It seems to me this article does warrant a read, from what I see, and it’s easy reading... 😊

That was a great read, thank you!! I have been doing the guided meditations on Headspace for a couple months now, and I think they've helped me the most of anything. I'm in the middle of a 30-session program called Managing Anxiety. It's a daily 15-minute guided training on observing thoughts and feelings that distract you - and therefore cause anxiety and panic - then letting them go, and returning your focus back to what you are doing (which is simply breathing).

It's essentially guided, repetitive training on letting go. You get a little better each day, and then you find yourself using what you've learned throughout the day. The first time I really noticed the benefits was one night when I was driving home. I had a severe panic attack out of nowhere and suddenly felt so dizzy I thought I would have to pull the car over and get a grip before I could continue driving. But, also out of nowhere, I imagined the Headspace guy's voice saying "you have become distracted...observe the feeling you just had...now let it go and gently guide your focus back to what you are doing, which is driving the car." I did so, and instantly felt calm and back in control of myself.

I highly recommend meditation, mindfulness and everything else mentioned in this article!

I'm using Calm. The mediation and breathing helps but they give little food for thought advice at the end of every session
