Missing my bestfriend

I miss my bestfriend. I’m so alone even when I’m surrounded by people. I lost her on July 17th from a car wreck. We were inseparable. She was my better half and my back bone. I feel so guilty about her passing bc I know I could have prevented it. She had just dropped me off.

I’m so sorry:(. I don’t know how you could have prevented it. I’m sure you are looking for an answer as to why this happened and your answer is that you caused it. Please know that is not true. How can I assure you of this? Because, had you known that she would have been in a wreck after dropping you off, you would have not had her drop her off. Therefore, you did not have her drop you off knowing she would get in a wreck. You did not have full knowledge of the outcome that is required in order to be the cause of the outcome. Have you ever heard of near death experiences? If you research them, they might help your grieving process. Please don’t close your heart off to love, it is what heals. Can you join a grief program, preferably a group? Those are the people you want to connect with because they understand exactly what you are feeling. Don’t give up ❤️

Aloha Abby!! First, I am so deeply sorry for your loss!! I can feel your pain and I can empathize. I know her passing is still fresh and raw...you must have the strength to move forward. Not today or tomorrow, but eventually. No one can tell you when it’s going to happen. That’s up to you, but it’s going to and it will. Time does heal wounds, not all of them, but most. You won’t forget but you’ll slowly learn to live with the pain and loss. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy. But please take comfort in the many wonderful memories you created and shared together. She wouldn’t want you to be sad... she deserves to be celebrated in your memories, cherished and keept close, deep within your heart & soul. Something you see, hear or feel will trigger a wonderful memory you shared together and in the future you’ll tell your children and then grandchildren about those happy, joyful, sad or even scared times you shared with one another and your sweet memories of a beautiful angel 👼 you were blessed with. She’s always going to be with you and watching over you. And someday, in God’s or your higher powers time and only in that time we’ll all be reunited and together again with all our family AND friends in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. On July 17, 2017 we lost my brother-in-law and dear friend in a motorcycle accident. He died on his way to meet my sister on his lunch break on their 2 month anniversary. She blamed and still does blame herself for what happened. Other sisters blamed themselves for his death stating that they did not pray enough and that his death was their fault. Ultimately, it was an accident. Please don't blame yourself. I would encourage you to speak to your parents or a trusted adult about the way that you are feeling. Perhaps a counselor at school, asking your parents about seeing a counselor, or joining a grief support group would be helpful for you?

I’m so sorry for your loss 🌹🌹🌹 xx
