Docs putting me on all these meds. Please help

I had my first panic attack in 2015. I got stuck in the panic loop for three weeks. It was terrible. The doc at that time started me on Lexapro and Klonopin. I was on the Klonopin for 6 months, and had to shave peices off to titrate off. It was bad. I was never able to get off the Lexapro. I was panic free for all this time. Then earlier this year, I got pregnant and was severely ill. I lost the baby and that night panic attacks came back. I took some Klonopin for a week or so and then went off. Now I am having horrible anxiety all day long, but not really panic attacks. I saw a new doc. They put me on birthcontrol to try and level out my hormones, stay on Lexapro, and added Tegretol, with Klonopin when needed. I hate meds. Taking these is giving me anxiety, but its so bad without something. Looking for advice. How to stay strong, what course to take. I am seeing a therapist once a week and accupunture once a week. My mom says take the meds and get better. My therapist isnt a fan of meds. I have two children that I have to take care of, they are my world. I need emotional support right now.

You sound like a very strong woman for all you have experienced! I am a big fan of therapy, meditation, and yoga. I also struggle with taking medications. I recently tried acupuncture and did not like it.... How are you finding it? I am trying to decide if I want to give it another try.

Well thank you. I like the acupuncture. I think it helps for a day or two. It seems to have a cumulative effect. the more you do it, the more it helps. If nothing else, its relaxing.

In the last month, I have taken probably 5 tabs, 1 mg each. In the last 24 hours though, I have taken 2mg.
