Other end of my town

I recently did the same thing Nina. I feel your anxiety. I am focusing on anticipating the ability to indulge in my passion for decorating and shopping. It is a clean slate...a chance to start over even if what came before was good, the future house is anything I want it to be. I am buying a fuzzy pink ottoman. Why? because it is something I would never buy...its crazy, whimsical, and motivation for me to continue stepping outside of my comfort zone, and allowing myself to enjoy being there. Buy something stupid for your new home...you will giggle ever time you see it, and it will be a conversation piece as well as giving you freedom to be in a new place :)

Hi it's very exciting moving to a new home but very sad too to be leaving your old home. I always feel as though I am deserting it!

My best tip? Once you have moved get the kettle out, the telly, and your bedclothes then go down the nearest pub and get rat ar.......d Then start dealing with everything the next day. It always works for me :) x

It releases all the tension and stress which goes with moving which is why you feel better, even if you have a hangover! :) x

Very true lol

You're only moving to another part of town- you'll be able to keep your contacts. Congratulations , and I hope the move is a positive one.

It is a challenge to move to different surroundings. I hope you find them a pleasant adventure. When my last parent died had sold off my childhood home. Lived there over 20yrs and my parents retired there. Sometimes i wish i would have bought it, but i think it would have been too much for just me to care for it. Would have been empty and sad. Good luck to you!
