Alienated

I feel so alienated.. in class, at lunch, in basketball.. everything I do is wrong, it always is.. I feel like I’m bringing down my team, they kicked me out of the group chat (on purpose) and they constantly treat me like I’m an idiot. I’m just so sick and tired of being the mistake. In class I can’t remember a single thing we do, I have no friends who take my class and at lunch they all seem to ignore my existence. In a room full of people I feel lonely.

You are not alone! A great affirmation to say is “ I deserve to take space” you can this part if you want..”like everybody else “ eventually you can add to or change I was just giving you one.. Remember don’t down dumb yourself. I don’t have many friends . Also you feel the way you think. So if you change the way you think you will feel different.. hope that helps

Please don’t feel your a mistake- no way!!! It’s probably the complete opposite!! maybe youre an amazing creation with gifts to offer others -you just need to discover what those are!!!👋don’t let others define you! they will if you let them sadly-& who really knows why?? but people can be stupid that way!! Just be best you you can be love yourself & know your worth!!!💞🌼

I'm sorry that you are going through all of this but keep in mind that situations like this change. When I was in school I had a period of time like you described but later made some friends and my self-esteem got better too. Hang in there.

This world belongs to you...it is your 'living room' and those people are trippin'... just have your own party to enjoy yourself, in your own space... maybe they will wake up from their 'trip' and join you...don't let their 'trip' get to you...be a maverick : ) create your own JOY!

So many people have been where you are. Forums like this are great because you are able to connect with people who have experienced similar circumstances like yours. High school ws rough for me. I had a decent group of friends in middle school however we either ended up going to separate high schools, or having separate classes and lunch schedules. It was an awkward time for me which I'm happy I made it through. Knowing what I know now, I would be more friendly and open with others. I am an introvert so I was never motivated to approach others, if I had, I may have saved myself the same feelings of lonliness you feel. Try to find things in common with other people, join a club or some other extracurricular activity, and look for people who seem to be lonely as well. You can make that person's day as well as possibly meet a new friend at the same time. This time of your life will pass. Stop beating yourself up. The people on your team/group chat should try to encourage you or build you up, not tear you down. It says a lot about their character. If you think you need help, talk to your coach or see your school counselor. Everyone needs help at some point in life. Don't be afraid of investing in yourself. Things will get better and one day you will look back at this time in your life and smile that you made it through. You never know, some of these people putting you down may even work for you one day. :-)
