If it's not as I pictured it

So my friend has a party and there is a dress code. I planned out the whole look for the party but now everything is falling apart and nothing is the way I pictured and now i can't stop crying. I think it's because I feel like I'll be judged and made fun of if it's not perfect. I'm running scenarios in my head and I see everyone whispering about me. Now I kinda don't want to go but I promised my friend I would. I just feel like I'll have a terrible time because I'll only know 2 people at that party

Hi you are over thinking it so try and distract yourself from these thoughts or replace them with positive ones. Ask yourself would anyone else be perfect? In which case why do you? Also why would anyone bother judging you when they are much too concerned with themselves. Are you that important to them that they would bother?

My advice is plan your outfit and go and expect to have a wonderful time. x

I agree with Hypercat54. If you stop and think about it, one party in your whole life is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things! Go to the party and if you aren’t enjoying yourself in some way, leave. It’s that easy! Don’t sweat the small stuff, dear! 😉👍💛

Is it fancy dress? I don't think I'd fancy that either. Surely your friend won't allow you to be treated like that? What is the point of you going if you can't trust your friend. I have my daughters party coming up. I really don't wanna see my ex. But I must show my face even just for a couple of hours x

Yeah it's fancy dress. I just know that my friend acts differently when she's around her other friends. I just don't know what to expect.
