School was terrifying, I’m sick so my hypersensitivity to sounds was on complete edge, we have this sort of “class” where we spend 30 minutes with a bunch of people per day where we are forced to be social, during this they put on loud music. We are not allowed phones, which I use to calm myself down listening to calmer music. The clashing of the people talking, laughing and the dreadfully loud music induced a panic attack I tried staying calm but I burst into tears in front of everyone.. it was so embarrassing and I had to ask to leave and I kept my head low trying not to look at anyone. I feel so bad..

Schools usually have counselors. Try to see one at your school. You may be able to be exempted from this 30 minute class. It doesn't sound like much fun anyway. Sounds like a cocktail party, which most people don't like at all.
The counselors at my high school are not very good, I go to therapy already ( outside of school) and yeah I’ve talked to them and it’s obligatory despite it, however the teacher and I have made a deal for a signal (subtle) that helps me tell her I’m having a panic attack which means I can leave the class and go to the nurse.
I was thinking the same as b1b1b1. Why not tell your teacher that you have problems with loud music and ask to be excused. I was wondering how old you are? x
