Update on my SSRI tapering

I’m so proud of myself and happy to say that I’ve gone from taking 10mg of Lexapro everyday to no taking 5mg everyday!!! My tapering journey has been really amazing for me and I feel like I’m finally starting to be able to learn how to handle my anxiety. I still have a long way to go but I just wanted to share this!!

Hi hb_kenzie, I'm so proud of you as well. I weaned off my benzos 5 years ago. It's an amazing feeling. I am now only taking Lexapro. One day I hope to be off that as well.

I wish you well. Never give up. Never go backwards, keep going forward. Give your brain time to heal and make the chemicals naturally once more. I'm behind you all the way.
