Mrs Vanberg invited me for tea

Surround yourself with older people, they have this safety feeling i don't know how to explain it. I really don't like tea but she also promised me freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. She talk while i listen, listening to her is safe, it's just me and her and spidey, She said 90 is the new 50, she thinks the sunflowers im growing are beautiful. Before I fall asleep on her lazy chair i wanted to say sorry if my post are not cheerful anymore. Have a nice day

That lady would have had me at "freshly baked cookies".

You don't have to apologize for the tone of your post. If you are not feeling great, it is best to let people know that. This is a supportive community and people are here for you.

that was lovely and refreshing to hear .... and a really smart thing to do is to listen to those who know, because they have lived a life time.....your a good person to visit with this elderly person, it probably meant the world to them....and your a lucky pup to get cookies to boot.....

Lol i did get tons of cookies. I love visiting her im not sure why but i find it extremely peaceful and i needed that

Before she even finish saying 'freshly baked' i would already be at the door. Older people have lived and no one gives better advices than them also great listener

Hey hun how are you, are you doing better

This sounds delightful. I hope you enjoyed your time with her. I wish I still had my grandmother around.

That's why i like being over there, nothing like chilling with a grandmother especially one that love baking

There's something sweet, simple, and nostalgic about it. We don't get many moments like that these days.
