It is ok if not everything is ok

I am trying to remind myself today: don’t get discouraged, don’t give up, don’t sink into sea of negative thoughts. Yes, a few things don’t go as you want at the moment. This is ok, just let yourself time to figure out what to do about it. Even put thinking about them aside for now.

It is ok, don’t stress out, look around and see that not everything is so bad.

Wish you dear friends easy and not hectic with worry day.

yeah...sometimes I get caught up in something...especially if it effects our life here, that may make things more difficult for us. It seems every week we have a new challenge. If it's not financial, it's a water leak, or some other 'thing' we have to take care of. And when things go sideways...well....it's hard to deal with sometimes.... I think it's great to remind ourselves we have no control over people, places, and things.... but with a little time, and working through a problem towards a solution, also takes the power out of things that don't work out so well. And at some point....we have to just walk away from it and move on.

Well said, fauxartist. Very wise. I often feel like I am guilty, no matter what I have to fix it. But it is not always possible or it takes patience and I have to stay calm ...

Guilt is a killer....and many do take on more than their fair share. Unless you deserve to take responsibility for your direct actions....then don't feel guilty. And the best way to get passed guilt is to address what ever it was and let it go. If I have been short with my partner because I'm in a crappy mood, that's my doing and up to me to apologize.

But if someone is trying to place blame on me when it's not deserved....then it's on them.

o, yes, it happened yesterday, i was upset and started talking not nicely to my husband, like it is his fault...which was not, just life... So i caught myself and changed my tone. it happens with me and my moods. have to pay attention to that issue as well.

with other guilt issue: i am usually the one who blames myself more than other people would blame me...or at least express that they blame me.
