Overwhelmed...any tips?

It is easy for pretty much ambitious persons to feel there's a lot to do and many goals set...therefore occassionally feeling overwhelmed. However, for anxiety and depression, I know that the threshold of being overwhelmed is much, much lower. In fact, many times this will often just lead to inaction. Therefore, often find that I have a lot on my plate (like today) and it feels so overwhelming...like I'm literaly swamped up and drowning in yourself. It's funny (almost makes me jealous) how most "normal" people would not find this to be "a lot", let alone overwhelming. How do you guys overcome this and actually get stuff done "like a boss"?
