I'm unsure whats wrong me with this past Saturday 3 days ago since I'm in Oregon todays Monday I had drank 3 shots of whiskey and I'm only 20 years old So drinking is a weekend party thing for me but out of no where I was laying in bed and my heart started beating a lot I was a little scared and thought it was just the liqour so I went to sleep and the next morning I woke up and my heart was beating so fast . I started getting all these thoughts in my head (ive taken Molly before and cocaine) And I was thinking may be these drugs are making me go crazy ) but with that being said I took Molly April 1st which was two months ago so it couldnt have been that and knew deep down it wasn't the Molly or anything but it was like my mind was telling me it was that and I'm a vegetable and I was thinking all these crazy thoughts all my surroundings seems unreal like I was in a daze and my heart was fluttering so much and I was crying I just wanted to scream at my mind and out loud I don't know what was happaning I'm a perfectly healthy 20 year old but now its Monday 3 days later and it stopped I still get my heart racing every couple hours but nothing like Saturday . I just wanted to kill myself thats how crazy I thought I was going but then it just stopped . The doctor said it was Anxiety and I was having a panic attack but why would I if ive never ever had one before. And summer is begining and I feel like I'm not gonna be able to drink or hangout with my friends if the heart fluttering stays makes me feel very anxious and I want to be isolated when it happens .

Please Respond and give some insight to what this might be or if you experienced it . I'm freaking out
Elizabeth_vergara503, somehow the whiskey triggered your anxiety which then went into a panic attack. It happens sometimes when the adrenaline doesn't have a chance to lower that the attack can go on for several days. Dehydration plays a big part when driving alcohol. You need to replace the fluids that the alcohol lowers. The heart needs hydration in order to have enough fluid to circulate the blood throughout our body. When it doesn't it ends up going into heart arrhythmia as you experienced.
Whoa, are you on medication? If so - and this is not a PC opinion - but depending on what you are taking, you might still be able to party with your friends and have fun if you lay off all drugs and hard liquor and cut back on how much you drink. Get a wine spritzer (sounds lame, I know, but they do taste good). You can bring your own if it's a party. The important thing is having a great summer with your friends, not getting as wasted as possible, right? At a bar a tropical drink (ask the bartender to go easy on the booze) can be kind of fun, especially with a kitschy little umbrella.
I'm glad you stopped the Molly. Times have changed. It's cut with all sorts of stuff now and you don't know what you're putting in your body. It's not worth it.
Adora1 makes a lot of sense, so even if you're going to have a light drink, be sure to hydrate.
