I’m feeling so much anxiety about going into work today (it’s going to be my first time going back to work in months). I don’t know what exactly it is. I think it’s cause for the most part I’ve only been in my house the past few months and I’ve just have gotten so use to it and now I only feel safe here. I have these ODD irrational fears that if I leave I’m just not going to be okay, something bad will happen, I’ll loose my mind in public... I could really use some uplifting words from people who have been in my shoes please 🙏🏼
TIA

I totally get it...being at home keeps you from experiencing all the anxiety that comes with being outside of your comfort zone. It took me a while to force myself to get outside and do something instead of avoiding situations. As soon as you get back into your work routine and get settled the anxiety will definitely decrease.
Hi if you have been off work for a long time then surely you are going back on a phased return to work scheme where you only work part at first before building up to your normal hours. If you are not on this then ask for it. It would make it a lot easier for you to go back to work. x
