Alcohol alters your brain chemistry

The relaxed feeling you can get when you have that first drink is due to the chemical changes alcohol has caused in your brain. For many of us, a drink can help us feel more confident and less anxious. That’s because it’s starting to depress the part of the brain we associate with inhibition.

There s no simple answer to your post. Alcohol is a drug, therefore the list of drug abuse possible side effects is the list you are questioning. My computer page is not sufficiently long nor is my time. Is there a reason for your post?

My view is that if alcohol is involved in problems in your life, you need to get alcohol out of your life. The term “problems” covers a wide range in your life. I think that mental health issues get much worse when alcohol is used. I know that was the case with me. The paradox is that now that I have focused on my mental health, I have no want for alcohol.

I hope this helps...
