Hello, I believe I've had anxiety and maybe a bit of depression going on for a while and would like some help in seeking professional help. Symptoms include getting nervous at absolutely everything, lack of sleep, and dangerous thoughts. What is the first step in finding help? Should I start off by contacting my primary care doctor? How would I know if I need psychological therapy, and how would I go about that? Any suggestions I would appreciate! Thank you
