Is anyone taking Mirtazapine ??

What is your experience with it ????

Hi , i took this medication many years ago when i was very depressed. At first i did not think they were working but after about two weeks i noticed a subtle shift in my mood. It was a very gentle change but it worked. In fact i was so down at the time it is miraculous that they worked. I would stick with them, give them a chance, each person is different and sometimes it takes a while to find the right one for you.

Hi 2stroke, I just started Mirtazapine 15 mg about 2 weeks ago. It is starting to work for me, at least I think it is. My other antidepressant was making my anxiety worse. I take this at night as directed, because it makes me drowsy. My psychiatrist also told me, "Don't take 1/2 of prescribed dose, because it will make you more drowsy. The opposite of other pills." This is important to know. Best of luck to you.
