I would like to know what everyone is thankful for during the passed year (2017). Here are mine
1. For the most happiest moment of my relationship (engagement) and the saddest (breakup with two months to the wedding). I am thankful that even in moments you feel like you can't live anymore, you live on. Things get better. I am thankful that I am no longer stuck in a miserable relationship
2. I am thankful that I no longer need the validation of a man or a relationship to feel fulfilled
3. I am thankful for my parents who have supported me through this difficult year
4. I am thankful for my friends - some of them consistent- but others who have come and gone. Each one brought a new light to my life.
5. I am thankful for my newly found motivation to build my career and engage in my passions
6. I am thankful for my pets
7. I am thankful that I am financially stable and have a good job
8. I am thankful for the people I met on this forum
Firstly congratulations on the validation. It was difficult when I was in the pit of depression and anxiety. I couldn't work and for once I had to go to my parent for help. I was fortunate that the team held my place at work and once well...i walked back in without the blink of an eye. So here's mine.
1. I am thankful my children are good and are happy within themselves. My daughter has had it overly tough due to bullying yet is pulling thro it.
2.I am thankful that I can lead the life I do and I go to work with a wonderful team.
3.I am thankful that I don't need a man to fulfil any part of my life.
4. I am thankful I had the strength to tell said man exactly what I thought of his behaviour throughout our marriage albeit me taking partial responsibility due to my depression for its demise.
5. I am thankful that I have found this forum and the people in it.
6. I am thankful I have made a few smile with my words.
7. I am also and finally thankful for coming thro depression and finally reaching the light. I live with it..and it with me, not always a happy pair but we get there.
