Morning Adrenaline Rush?

My morning anxiety has given way to a major adrenaline rush as soon as I open my eyes. Does anyone else get that? It seems to pass after I sit for a little with my coffee (decaf of course). But it's a little bit of a scary feeling. I was just wondering if this happens to anyone here?

oh my god yes seriously every day, the best way I can describe it is abruptly awakening with a feeling of impending doom. You're not alone, and my thoughts are with you. Wishing you a good nights rest <3

I feel the same way, Anxiety and Nausea every morning as soon as I wake up, what is this does anybody know why this happens

Yes! Two years ago when school started for both of my kids I would wake up with my heart pounding and this feeling of impending doom. I think it was stress that built up over time and as a sahm I was already overwhelmed with everything and usually feeling somewhat depressed. I decided to take action. I cut out caffeine and fast food and started eating better (caffeine because it would cause heart palpitations) fast food and sweets because I heard eating junk can make mental issues worse . I also found out I had issues with my thyroid. My thyroid was crazy overactive. I've been getting that treated. So whatever I could do about my physical health I did and still going strong! It could totally be your thyroid. Mine was seriously inflamed. It's been over two years and I just recently found out since I got bloodwork done and ultrasound. Hoping it gets better for you!!

I'm coming off Celexa...when l got down to 0.5 my adrenaline ( anxiety) l started getting severe morning adrenaline rushes...l wake up at 4:30 and can't get back to sleep. The feeling often lasts throughout the day...l have been taking clonazepam to offset the feeling, but it doesn't help that much. I am not sure if this is my new baseline or if it is still symptoms of withdrawal. I have been on Celxa for over a year. I initially went on it because l was having panic attacks because of neuropathy. The neuropathy is better so my doctor and l thought that it was time to come off the Celexa. I'm really having a hard time with the last 0.5.. it doesn't feel like an anxiety attack...more like a full on adrenaline thing where l can't relax...it's awful! Any suggestions or similar experiences! Thank you in advance 😊

For the past 25 years these symptoms come back for 1 to 2 weeks when stressful events happen (family issue, job, school,..) . Not fun at all.
