How do you get rid of obsessive thoughts. I'm afraid of the fear. Please tell me what to do.

Just let them be there. Let them scare you. Be passive towards them and do nothing about them. Accept that they will scare you, accept that they are obsessive. It’s just excessive energy manifesting itself as scary obsessive thoughts and needs to escape. The more you leave it be and be comfortable about not feeling comfortable, you will allow the energy to escape. Fighting and worrying about those thoughts just keeps topping up that energy you so desparately want to be rid of. Can you see how you are doing this to yourself? By accepting or allowing all those thoughts to come and just observing them, the energy that propels those scary thoughts to the front of your mind will run out and peace of mind and body will follow.

Thank you. I'm always crying. My psychiatrist took my cymbalta down from 60mg to 30mg and I'm not feeling well. So now he told me to go back up I don't want to be on pills
