I'm never going to get off the meds. The doctor took cymbalta down and I feel terrible. I'm scared. I have pain in ribs and bladder.

I'm sorry you've been having a really tough time with dosage reduction. I've read your past posts and not having experience with Cymbalta, I can't speak directly regarding it's specific symptoms of withdrawal. Like all medications there is a period of discomfort. It may be more extreme for some as it depends on their tolerance levels. I understand your Dr. wants to increase your dosage back to 60 mg. If this is cause for concern for both you and your husband, please see your Dr. for a consultation. It would be beneficial if your husband can participate in this discussion since he is opposed to the increase. It should give him a better understanding of the withdrawal process and symptoms. Be honest about your concerns and allow Dr. to make adjustments for a more comfortable process. This may be extremely difficult for you but with determination comes success. In the meanwhile, make yourself as physically comfortable as possible, rest and avoid any undue stress. I hope all works out for you . . . peace.

Thank you. But I'm scared of my thoughts and that makes the anxiety worse. That's why it's hard getting off.
