Hi everyone. I'm very new to anxiety support groups, so bare with me. I have had anxiety well most of my life really, and have had on and off depression for around 4 years or so now. I really need some advice right now on what I could do to ease both of them as I am going through a tough time and haven't been eating, sleeping, been irritated, and feel like I can't and don't want to go to school or work.

Hi, I wish I knew the answer.. but I do feel the same way. I haven't been able to go to work in weeks and just don't know what I am going to do. Meditation is helpful at times, then there are time nothing seems to help. If you like art, maybe drawing or coloring could help in anxious moments and journaling? If you find anything that works please share! Good luck and I hope you find peace very soon.
I didn't think about art, I used to have such a passion for drawing. I guess one thing that helps is me finding quotes and writing them down which in turn takes my focus off of the anxiety and depression
Sounds like you are going through a rough time. You need sleep and food. A times like that, I think checking with a doctor is probably a good idea. It's so hard to feel well when basic needs aren't being met. I wish you all the best!
