Lets try to be positive on here

I am the first to tell you that anxiety is difficult and the negative thoughts that flow are overwhelming. However, lets share some positive thoughts together and help each other. For example, I do feel better today then yesterday and I am learning each day to better manage my body sensations. I keep a list of to-do to keep me focused and I want to learn to take sometime just to breathe and relax. Now what can you share about today?

I totally agree!!! We should try to lift each other up. Sure we all have negative thoughts, it's part of depression, but we shouldn't share our negativity with others. You never know what mind set others are in, and them reaching out for help, they don't need someone else's negative thoughts!

Today I've smiled every time I've looked at my kids!!! It's put me in a better mood!!! 😃

Hi. My friend made me laugh out loud tonight. She is sooooo funny. In fact we make each other laugh. Laughter is truly the best medicine of all 😊💛💚💛💚

The cat curled up next to me this morning where my recently deceased service dog used to sleep. Never would image the cat even cared that much. :)

So sorry for your loss, HearYou.

The eclipse today was magical, I went and saw my friend's new kitten, and now I'm cuddling my dog. 😊

Yes anxiety can be a struggle, but it gives you time to think about what you need to do better. I've learned so much from having anxiety. I'm working on a better diet, working out more, and I've learned so many relaxing techniques. Our body gives us warning signs and mine was telling me I was do way to much. Also I had to change the way I think and I'm still working on that, but I can honestly say I'm starting to feel better day by day. Thank God🙌

What a great post. I like this. I got to see the eclipse yesterday using the NASA approved glasses. It was cloudy, but looking up with the glasses , one could see the orange rim of the sun behind the dark shadow of the moon. It was amazing, and reminds us that we are all part of nature.

Today I have made a step in the right direction to help myself, and although it's scary, I feel a weight has been lifted. Hoping for some positive outcomes :-)

Good to hear the positivity folks. I say such negative things when I'm depressed yet I know it makes things worse. My thought for the day tomorrow will be 'think positive'.

Good night everyone (uk) and wish you all the very best Wednesday possible 🙏🌻

That was saying I'm in the uk as I know it's not night yet for some

Morning (UK at least :) )

Last night I went for a run for the first time in forever! it was a short and slow jog and I was bright red in the face, blowing and drenched in sweat, looking like a mess, but I did it and I felt so much better for it! It was more a mental achievement than a physical one :) Xx

I am a huge fan of running and a fan of those who jog. It is a large feat to do so. I live in an unsafe area so I exercise inside my home with 'just dance' the game, lol.

Yesterday I laughed really hard, which was the first time in ages

Good idea! 🤗🤗🤗

I started the day by getting out of bed and making my bed! Accomplish 1 goal and your set up to do more! YAY!!!

I helped rescue a dog this morning who had been lost for a few days <3 She was really sweet

I am an avid dancer and yogi. This helps with my self care tremendously. Also I keep myself as busy as possible so that if I am alone w my dark or anxious thoughts I am at least productive. This helps me alot.
