Severe anxiety

Ok so I have OCD of health . I am always afraid I am dying . Right now found maybe a lump in breast so I am freaking and period is not normal so scared it uterine cancer also . I can't function this sucks and I can't verbalize it because everyone thinks I am nuts or their sick of it

Hey Jill,

Can you schedule an appointment with your doctor to get checked out? Although it's probably nothing, getting some peace of mind that you are OK goes a long way in helping you fight off this anxiety. It might also be a good idea to try and see if you can schedule some initial talk therapy with a certified professional (who won't think you are nuts :-)). Best of luck and hope you can get some help that you need soon!!

Well just found out the meds I take for the uterus puts me at an increased risk for breast cancer and I found a lump ! Can I cry now

It's ok to cry whenever you feel!! BUT, until it is checked out by the doctor and the nature of the lump can be determined, you can't assume anything. Get an appointment to go speak with your doctor, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that it isn't anything bad...

That's me I always think something is wrong with me like I have every disease I'm always scared thinking I'm dying from heart attack or cancer or something

It sucks and when something is wrong the drs leave out info cause I freak which makes it worse

not all lumps are cancer so just go to your doctor to put your mind at ease. I have had that same experience and the lump was fine I think the panic attack caused more harm. Also periods very so take a deep breath, your not alone in this crazy thought process. Hope your feeling better today.

Hi I had a lump in my testicles at first and even after the checkup i thought its tumor unless it got treated well just by some medicine.

Your not nuts!! I have the dame feelings myself. Everyday I think I have something and it's frustrating . Especially when symptoms are similar to other conditions. I go to my Doctor and she seems to just blow it off . Which gives me more anxiety. But to be safe I'd have a full check up just to ease your mind. Best wishes!!

Well now I sit and wait to see if my lump is breast cancer but wondering how I trust drs because the most prominent one put me on progesterone for well over a year and I asked is it safe told yes now others drs say it puts me it at risk for breast cancer . I am going to lose my mind

Thanks ! Appreciate it more than you know . Do any of you have your family just start being mean to you or indifferent ? I just left the house no one seems to care if I am there or not well I think they enjoy it more when I am not ! I have a daughter 21 sick I my anxiety so she really could careless about me unless it's to help her in some way and sometimes my husband just makes fun of my anxiety! Ok I am having my own pity party lol

I try and hide it from my kids but they can see it on my face my oldest is 17 then I have a 13,12 and 7 year old. They're very supportive and helpful. When I say ok guys I need it quiet they find themselves something constructive to do. I appreciate that they have patience with me. Have you tried explaining to them how serious this is?

Yes my daughter could careless she's 21 and my husband is worse
