Hello.... I new to this. I've been struggling with anxiety since March. I've been out of work since April. I really wanna get back to living happy. I know one day it's gonna happen. I just hope it's soon. Don't want to take any meds.

Do you have any idea why the anxiety started back in March?? Figuring out the root cause is going to be the quickest way to determining how you can get back on your feet again. If you're anti-medication, talk therapy might be a good place to start in order for you to organize your thoughts and gain some perspective. Best of luck!
Thanks..... I've recently started therapy and a few other things like aromatherapy and the ice trick. So far so good. Some days are better than others. I just gotta stay focused on getting better.
Well, I can certainly see why you would have some anxiety!! I recently started therapy myself (CBT) for the first time ever, so hopefully we'll both see some benefits in the near future. Yes, staying focused on the final goal is paramount, and even in my own toughest times, it's difficult to remember what is worth fighting for.
On a side note, try googling "cold showers for anxiety". There are some interesting articles about anecdotal and case studies that have been performed that might be informational.

If you look at my posts you will see my journey started in March of 2017 , I suffered from bad panic attacks out of no where ! I had soooo much stressors going on my body and mind just broke.... I’m a very out going person .... and I wound up like afraid to go out side ! I was just like you I didn’t want medication but I have my family to support so I started taking medicine .... and what also helped was understanding not being afraid of my symptoms ..... listening to Claire weeks audio books helped me too! Try yoga, lots of studies show it does wonders for anxiety/depression. Helps me and I am the epitome of anxious

I see that you live approximately 8 miles from where I do. I have suffered from anxiety & depression for years and have tried many different types of therapy. Do you know of any local anxiety & depression peer support groups in the area?
