Drinking w/ Anxiety 🍹🤔

Hey guys,

Last night I went to a lounge. I haven't been out in SO long because I was always doing something whether it was school, work, personal affairs, etc. So I was hesitant but I did drink three drinks and I did get drunk. But of course I can handle myself and I was okay, but this morning I woke up and I'm still a bit buzzed so my question is. I haven't taken my medicine because I'm afraid the alcohol that's in my system will interfere with my pills.

Does anyone have any input on this situation? If so PLEASE leave your personal experiences below I would really appreciate it!

Well, don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. Can't help you out of this one. Don't remember what meds you're on, but call your doctor or the pharmacy and just plain out tell one what you did and you know you screwed up and what is best course of action now. OK?

But please don't do this again and then think we know the magic formula to correct the situation. :)

I would call your pharmacist! I always feel "comfortable & safe" with what they say regarding any of my medicines! Hope you feel better!

I didn't post this for a magical solution. I clearly stated for folks to share their personal experiences sweetheart.

Well, "sweetheart", since you asked for "input" and "to share experiences" like drinking while on meds, that is not saying that we are going to be on an old program called "This Is Your Life"....it reads rather like a passive aggressive way of how asking "how do I fix this", or "how did you take Rxs and still drink?"....

I hope you did get the information you needed to decide what to do about taking your meds to today as you were drunk last night. :)

I think the whole drinking thing is pretty controversial. There's the official recommendation and then the reality of what some people do. I'm not on strong meds and have a couple light drinks once in a while. Nothing terrible has ever happened. I'm not advising this to anyone, by the way! Just saying what's happened in my case.

I drink but I'm very cautious with it. It is dangerous especially if you don't know you tolerance . I have a routine after I drink. I take a shower the next day drink lots water and Gatorade and drink some chamomile tea to relax and I take my meds that night . You just need to make sure he alcohol is out your system and that's where flushing your system with fluids help
