Introduction

Hi I am new to community...have been managing GAD and clinical depression for almost two decades. I manage condition with a variety of tools including medication, exercise, mindfulness meditation, and therapy. I would describe myself as a high functioning person with a mood disorder...I am a business owner, father, spouse and community volunteer. Looking for different approaches to managing these issues and I am also willing to share what has worked for me.

  • Hi nice to meet you. I don't know of any other self help approaches apart from those mentioned unless you want to try St. Johns Wort. I have never tried it myself but others have said it does them, generally it is only for mild depression though.

    The only other route I know is the medical one. I take it you are against meds and counselling?
