Good afternoon and welcome to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America’s (ADAA) first live community event! Thank you for attending. We will begin taking questions in a moment.

Dr. Kissen specializes in CBT based treatment to children, adolescents and adults with a focus on anxiety and stress-related disorders, including OCD, PTSD, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, separation anxiety disorder, compulsive skin picking, trichotillomania and other Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs). Dr. Kissen is a Clinical Fellow at ADAA and is a Co-Chair of ADAA’s Public Education Committee. Thank you for joining us today Dr. Kissen.
I would also like to introduce today’s psychiatrist, Dr. Karen Martinez. Dr. Martinez is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is Principal Investigator at University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus and the Director of the Center for the Study and Treatment of Fear and Anxiety at the University of Puerto Rico. We will now open up the discussion to take your questions. Please be as brief as possible and allow a moment or two for our experts to respond. Please note that we will do our best answer as many questions as possible during the hour event. We also received some questions in advance that Dr. Kissen and Dr. Martinez will try to respond to. After the event ends at 2:00 pm we will post the thread in the community for you to review at your leisure.
Thank you. We’ll now take the first question.
