At my school they have free counseling. I've gone to two. I always hear how you have to find the right counselor/therapist for you. I don't really know what that means. I understand if I felt uncomfortable or didn't like them that would not be the counselor for me, but what makes a good one? The first one just had me talk and say "unhuh" a lot. The second one I liked better, she was younger and felt more as a friend. She asks what's going on, why have I come in (I don't go regularly), and what can she do to help. I never know what to the say for the latter. I feel like shit, I don't know what I need or want. Talking helps but I feel I need more, I just don't know what and don't know how to ask for it.
