40 years old and finally trying to confront my anxiety and depression

hello all, glad to see there is an outlet like this for folks like us. I'm in the very beginning of what I'll call a positive identity crisis. I've dealt with anxiety and depression my entire life and let it control my life. I've hidden it well, for the most part, but it was always a part of me. I'm finally coming to grips with it and hitting it head on instead of living in fear and running. I'm finally ready to enjoy life, instead of just skating through it
