A Christmas Wish

I thought I'd get in quick before life gets to hectic so i'm sitting here, feeling like the Queen, writing my Christmas message!!!

If we're not careful the real message of Christmas gets lost as we focus on the food we can't deal with and the social situations some of us can't deal with either. In fact Christmas isn't about food and parties and whether we've found the perfect present.

Christmas is a message of Peace. It is about Renewal; a return to Wholeness and the Coming of Hope. I think we could all use some of that.

I'll be thinking and praying for you all.

Love and God Bless,

So true - but so hard to translate from head to heart. Peace and renewal is my prayer for myself and for all of you - I'm trying to focus on Jesus, what He did for me - that He loves me where I am - not where I've been or where I'm going - but right now as I am - ED and all! Also planning social life as a morning/afternoon involving others - meal times are just my husband and I - so all in all, although only living around the ED - making Christmas a festive and enjoyable occasion for both others and myself!

God's richest blessing to one and all.

Merry Christmas Crossstitcher,

There is a hymn we sometimes sing at church which includes the line "Take me as you find me, all my fears and failings". I still find this a difficult concept to cope with but in God's grace I am moving forward.

My prayer for christmas is for all sufferers like me, the hope of a peaceful life where our symptoms and our harmful and devastating practises may for all of us be just a dreadful memory to leave behind and where peace, joy and motivation can join us for ever

Have a lovely Christmas

With lots of love

Ludovica
