New here so just saying hello... I have a long history of anorexia, recovery, relapse, recovery, relapse ..repeat...
in my experience I see anorexia is a result of isolation, being misunderstood, if you could cope or felt you had support for whatever issues caused you to become overwhelmed you wouldn't withdraw into an eating disorder because it's like your best friend, confidant, cheerleader and primary carer that you have developed for yourself that you can turn to do it not surprising it is an on going battle to recover from.
